Frequent questions

NursED portfolios are digital tools for reporting learning during healthcare training internships. They allow documenting practical learning in real time on mobile devices. Digital portfolios replace print workbooks. 

NursED portfolios are designed for healthcare students. The first portfolio will be published for midwifery students. A portfolio for nursing students will be published later.

Students purchase portfolios fo themselves. There is no cost for the university of applied sciences. The licenses are valid for 3 years, and can be extended. Students can export their portfolio as a pdf. The prices are available here.

The portfolios are designed for all mobile devices and desktops. The portfolios are web-based and work on any device and browser.

The portfolios are compliant with the relevant EU standards and are suitable to be used in any university of applied sciences. We recommend you discuss with your teacher about the portfolio and follow any guidelines your UAS has established for reporting on internships. 

NursED portfolios have been created on Workseed LMS. You can use the portfolios even if your institution does not use the Workseed LMS. In case you already have an account on Workseed, you can use the portfolio on your personal account. 

You can add one or more teachers to your account, as well as remove them. This allows your teacher to monitor your progress and provide feedback.

Individual work tasks can be approved directly on your mobile device. Simply open the signature tool and have your supervisor sign their name on your device. The portfolio automatically registers the signature and the time of approval. 

The portfolio is personal for you. You can continue using the same logbook even if you change to another UAS. When you graduate, you can export the portoflio for free into a pdf file that can be annexed to a CV. You can also choose to buy an extension to your logbook.
